Catch 1 Billion Ducks Duck Index

The Duck Index in Catch 1 Billion Ducks is the collection catalog that tracks every duck species you have caught. It appears in the freezer or upgrade menu alongside weapon and dog tabs, and it serves as both a record of progress and a signal for long-term goals. As of late August 2026, the Index still shows White Duck as the first fully documented common, while live hunts and creator videos keep unlocking named species that used to sit behind locked silhouettes.

This page records confirmed and strongly evidenced names only. It does not copy decorative fan dexes that invent Sunbeam or Crystal ducks for a different fantasy. If a species is not in your Index yet, hunt it — do not buy a “dex filler” script.

How the Index works

Open the freezer / upgrade panel and look for the species tab. Each unlocked row typically shows rarity, HP, sell value, Feather yield, and a flight-speed band. Locked rows stay anonymous until you down that bird and let your dog convert it. Shooting is not enough; uncollected bodies do not always catalog. Pair this page with sell ducks for money and Dog Dexterity so catalog progress and cash progress move together.

Gotta Hunt ‘Em All on the badges list is a Roblox award name, not a proven Index completion chest. Do not assume filling the dex grants a class. Classes stay on how to unlock classes.

White Duck (confirmed baseline)

White Duck is the volume bird. You will see it more than anything else on day one. Feather yield is tiny, which is why DUCKS (100 Feathers) and boss days matter so much more than farming commons for a Pyromancer unlock.

Species evidenced in live hunts

Creator footage from Catch 1 Billion Ducks sessions has shown discovery toasts and callouts for:

Ultra-rare species (August 2026 update)

The same update that added classes to Catch 1 Billion Ducks also introduced two new ultra-rare duck species:

These ultra-rare species are tied to the new class abilities. The Hunter class Duck Decoy ability can spawn rare ducks on lucky rolls, which includes Doodle Duck and Impostor Duck. When you see these species appear in your Index, it is a sign of good luck or a class ability trigger — not a common spawn.

Exact Index numbers for these rows were not published by Billion Duck Hunters. When your client shows HP and sell value, believe the client. This wiki will not invent a $47 Doodle Duck.

Bosses are not the same list

Devil Duck, Boss Duck, and Titan Duck are encounter bosses. They may appear as Index trophies later; today they have dedicated fight pages: Devil Duck, Boss Duck, Titan Duck. Do not skip a boss because you are “only filling the dex.” Boss cash and Feathers buy the classes that make rare birds fall faster.

Farming strategy for Index completion

1. Stabilize damage and Dexterity so you can catalog without carrying every body.
2. Redeem DUCKS and buy a class if Feathers allow — denser kits find named birds sooner.
3. Use Hunter class Duck Decoy ability to increase chances of rare duck spawns.
4. Skip weak days when the pond is only whites, unless you still need cash.
5. Stay for flock waves; named tanky birds often ride with the denser groups.
6. Recheck the Index after each session rather than screenshot-hunting other wikis.
